Evidence before claims
A certification claim should point to a listing, certificate or declaration that names the legal manufacturer, the exact model, the covered markets and the validity period. If the document does not name your model, it does not cover it.
Track validity and changes
Certificates expire and product revisions change. Record the validity date and the change triggers, such as new firmware, new hardware revisions or a changed target market, and re-verify before relying on the claim.
Vendor questions
Ask the vendor for the document reference, the issuing programme, the covered markets and the date of the latest review. Treat missing references as an unresolved item, not an approval.
